Finding and Joining Groups

Creating a Group

Start Your Community

Create a space for like-minded EV enthusiasts to connect and share.

  1. Go to Groups
    Navigate to the Groups section from the main menu
  2. Click Create Group
    Fill in your group's name, description, and category
  3. Set Privacy
    Choose between public, private, or hidden group settings
  4. Customize
    Add a cover photo, set group rules, and configure settings
  5. Publish
    Click Create Group to launch your community
Important: Ensure your group follows our community guidelines. Groups that violate our terms may be removed.

Group Invites

Group admins can generate invite links to let others join without searching. Each group has a dedicated invite page at /groups/invite/{groupId}.

  1. Open Invite Page
    Admins navigate to the group's invite page

  2. Copy Link
    Click the copy-to-clipboard button to share the invite URL

  3. Share
    Send the link to friends, forums, or social media

When a user joins via an invite link, a welcome direct message is automatically sent by the system.

Admin Only

Only group admins can view and copy the invite link. Members do not see this option.

Group Forum Posts

Groups include a discussion forum where members can post topics and reply to each other.

Posting

  • Only group members can post or reply
  • Live 2,000-character counter
  • Threaded replies with nesting

Moderation

  • Only admins and moderators can delete posts
  • Content is rendered as plain text for safety
  • Blacklist validation on creation

Private Groups

Groups can be set to Private visibility. When enabled:

  • The group is hidden from non-members on the public groups list
  • Members (including admins) can still see and access the group
  • Forum posts are only visible to members; server-side validation enforces this

To join a private group, you must be invited or approved by an admin.

Stay On Topic

Keep discussions relevant to the group's purpose and theme.

No Spam

Avoid excessive self-promotion or irrelevant links.

Respect Privacy

Don't share personal information without permission.

Report Issues

Help maintain a safe environment by reporting any concerns.

Note: Group administrators have the right to remove content or members that violate these guidelines. Repeated violations may result in group restrictions.
